Today DC has 580 COVID hospitalizations, 74 in ICU, 39 on ventilators

The media reported percentage increases can cause panic until you realize that most infections don't need any hospitalization because the vaccines are working. Things should be better for us in a few weeks if this is our peak.
Freepers in less vaccinated areas might have different outcomes when it reaches them.
