I had transferred from the Red Line to the Blue Line at that station about an hour and fifteen minutes earlier. There was a shooting or stabbing at Metro Center about a month or two earlier, also a little bit after I had been through the station.
BREAKING: 1 person dead after shooting inside Metro Center Metro station, Red Line train service between Farragut North and Gallery Place suspended.
