switch from Winter clothes into Spring clothes. This is going straight to Summer clothes.

CA has had a very cold Winter so I have the feeling that the Summer will be super hot. Climate Change means EXTREMES. I am not into sudden changes but I guess I'd/we'd better get used to it since it is the "new normal".

71 on Wednesday the 12th!!! and 73 the 14th (my wedding anniversary!!! On to ROME!)

I don't care for 'new normal,' but there haven't been extremes here thank goodness. Not an inch of snow here this year/winter.

I lived in Rome wnen I went to art school there.

Make sure to check their weather too, I just did for Rome... "67 and rain on the 14th" but high remps between 60 and 70 degrees is the norm. I always check out Nice, France. my favorite place and I traveled with my dog. French people are cool about dogs.

By Eileen Whelan
First Alert Weather Meteorologist

After record warmth Wednesday, First Alert Weather is on a SEVERE ALERT Thursday afternoon and early evening for the potential for strong to severe storms. Some storms may bring gusty winds, hail and lightning.

Ahead of the cold front, expect a warm and muggy morning with some peeks of sunshine. Temperatures will rise into the low 80s by early Thursday afternoon. The heat and humidity, combined with the approaching front, will trigger scattered showers and storms between 2-7 p.m. Expect a wide range of rainfall totals depending on where some of the heavier pockets of rain develop. Also expect anywhere from .10 to over a half inch in some neighborhoods.
