TALLAHASSEE, Florida — Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who routinely slams Democrats and the “corporate media,” on Wednesday went after a one-time ally — @LibsofTikTok — the social media account run by conservative activist Chaya Raichik.

DeSantis ripped into Raichik for “lying” about Florida law after she posted a link to a television news story about three undocumented migrants from Guatemala who are accused by Palm Beach counties authorities of forcing a woman into a car and sexually assaulting her.

Libs of TikTok claimed Florida provides drivers licenses to undocumented immigrants, despite the state having some of the country’s harshest anti-immigrant laws.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis skewered the right-wing social media account Libs of TikTok on Wednesday, accusing it of concocting lies to “engagement farm” and get rage “clicks.”

DeSantis was set off by a Wednesday morning post from the page’s account on X, formerly Twitter, where it wrongly stated Florida provides drivers licenses to undocumented immigrants.

The governor chimed in after a community note on X called out the page out for sharing incorrect information—an increasingly common occurrence for Libs of TikTok.
