Ted Cruz could be a thorn for Bush, Rubio

Sen. Ted Cruz announced on Twitter he's running for president, and that could bring headaches for Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio.

For Bush, Cruz will draw even more attention to Common Core, an issue that resonates with conservative activists already turned off to Bush. "We need to repeal every word of Common Core," Cruz said to loud applause during an event last summer in Miami. Look for Cruz to also hammer Bush as the epitome of an establishment candidate.

For Rubio, Cruz could attack him over his role in writing the Senate's comprehensive immigration bill - legislation Cruz denounces as amnesty.

Cruz, a relative fresh face in national politics, like Rubio, could also drain some of Rubio's support among activists, some of whom are giving the Floridian another look after he distanced himself from his own immigration bill.

He wants us to live in a theocracy. We'd be under the thumbs of both corporations and religious zealots. I can't think of a worse form of government.

Don't you remember the last republican primary? They were trying to out-right each other. They pandered to the crazies and NO ONE had the guts to say "Whoa, I totally disagree with that. That notion is crazy!"

The same will happen in 2016:
Cruz will garner the crazy-vote. He will attack Bush for being un-crazy and un-republican.
Bush will try to prove his republican credentials by saying crazy things.
Election 2016: Pretend-moderate John Ellis Bush is on record caving to crazy.

GOP and still be 'seen' as an independent voice. He's an ACTOR for BushInc, and he will play whatever role serves its purpose. He will cater to the furthest right wing nuts and bring them to Jeb on a silver platter when the time is right.

I seriously doubt Cruz would send his "congregation" to vote for the Jebster. Unless of course he invokes the will of God to get his people to vote for Jeb.
