Florida man charged with possessing counterfeit bills

Dothan police arrested a Florida man recently and charged him with possession of a forged instrument after authorities said he tried to use counterfeit money.

Ke’Ontre Edmound Simpson, 24, of Tallahassee, Fla., was arrested recently in Dothan. According to court documents, Simpson faces three counts. Court documents indicate Simpson possessed multiple counterfeit bills of varied denominations.

Court documents indicate arrest warrants could be forthcoming on another Tallahassee resident.
