I've got to get out of So Fla though...

#1 it's getting expensive. I'm retired on a fixed income. For what I can sell my home in Hollyweird, I can buy a place in northern or central Fla for the cash I get out of the sale.
I live in a very nice, reasonably safe neighborhood but 6 miles south west of me somebody is killed like every day!! That's nuts. So Fla has a big bulls eye on it for hurricanes being on the east coast.. Traffic is getting Miami nuts up here now also.
I need a little more quiet, peaceful and less expensive.. Time to jet out while the real estate prices are going up...

I bet you are not alone either. Anyone who is young and moving there would be foolish if they expect to stay for very long.

You can tell by the number of Canadian and "northern" plates in the Publix parking lot. Oh and the traffic gets worse... In the summer the traffic and snow birds fly away home but the heat and humidity creep back in...
I wish I could find a nice lady from Canada so I can be a snow bird!!! You can't beat the cooler months in So Fla... or the poutine in Montreal..
Did I tell you it's flat? Like pancake flat. I think the highest elevation is about 400 feet and that's in the north west part of the pan handle AKA..... L.A. .... lower Alabama!!!

and I'll probably be here if they all move away. Or I'll go to Atlanta because I'll be bored to tears.

Meh, every state can be dinged. I've grown to regard these pieces as so much filler unless you've got solid stats to show me. Not talking to you shenmue, to the author.
