Unless we take back the Presidency, the Senate (with a 60-40 majority too apparently - even though the GOP creates havoc with a simple 3-seat majority), increase the majority in the House AND find a way to flip the SCOTUS back to at least 5-4 liberal majority, then the freight train USA is on a collision course with disaster and no one can move the wheel to turn it.

Just picture McConnell as a snapping turtle and guarding the engineer's wheel on a train for visual understanding of the situation.

Our party seems to have wholesale adopted the idea that if something won't pass the meanies in the GOP Senate (or McConnell specifically) then it's just not worth pursuing...see:
1) Impeachment,
2) ACA enhancement or rescue,
3) protecting the elections,
4) equal pay for women....etc, etc, etc...

Our weapon is to shut down the confirmation of judges and other positions until the Senate is broken from its slumber and forced to, you know, actually hold votes on House bills...but I would not hold my breath on that any more than I would on Impeachment at this point.

More to the point, why wasn't climate change front and center of the 2016 Presidential debates?

The lack of the media to take any responsibility for this s***storm frustrates me to no end.

And that goes back to the people like Margaret Carlson back in 2000 who thought Al Gore was "boring" and posted a picture of herself with GWB in her own book.

Tom Perez stating a climate debate won't be held, anyone who attends such a debate will be disqualified, AND the article about protests at the DNC HQ yesterday?
