Democrats must build a bench in mid-size counties!
As we watch the race for FDP Chair, where Allison Tant hasn't even produced a plan for the FDP but Alan Clendenin has, we should think about how to rebuild this sorry state party!
Here is one blog post about building a bench on school boards, county commissions, and recruiting candidates from every part of society. The FL GOP targeted school boards in the 1980s and it worked. They built a bench and by the mid 1990s they had a legislative majority.
