(8,015 posts)We're in Marion County with no cases yet, but Lake County (next door) has one as of today. You stay well too.

(46,769 posts)It's been 24 hours and we still don't know in which of the cities in the county they originate. But when the news flashed to the closing of libraries, I'm sure the library they selected to show was in my city.

(8,015 posts)It's tough to have the libraries closed even though it's the right thing to do. They don't seem to be giving much information about any of it other than the counties, although I noticed there were 18 cases that were diagnosed here but since they're either snowbirds or tourists, they aren't counting them in the official Florida count.

(46,769 posts)They are putting their own people in danger! Though the emergency management officer claimed that the health services were under reporting. Maybe this is what he meant? It makes a huge difference. People would have thought it was okay to attend a social event on Saturday because it was down to one travel related case. I know, because I did.

(8,015 posts)just listen to total numbers. Today there was a positive in Marion County that was reported in the local news, but it doesn't show in Marion County on the interactive map. I'm just staying home except to get essentials. I'm definitely canceling all checkup type doctors' appointments. I'm 72 and healthy, but not taking chances.
