I'm so glad Burke got convicted

This is why we need two parties. With one you get corruption.

Plus Burke is an effing racist. Remember he fought Harold Washington.

That once they got Fast Eddie, he should have known they'd get him. Well timed exit for his wife of IL SC.
HOWEVER.. I'm still thinking Madigan will walk. He's far smarter and savvy than either Fast Eddie and Burke.
If what passes for today's "r" party in IL didn't drink the ray-gun kool-aid, we might have close to two parties. But we don't and I doubt we ever will.

I haven't lived in Chicagoland for 40 years, but I remember the guy from the time. Good to see him get what is long overdue.
