Anyone else seeing the ads for the reprehensible Trey Hollingsworth?

He's running for Congress against Greg Zoeller et al ... his ads are just disgusting. I've seen them on the local channels in the Indy area.

www.votefortrey.com

He attacks Zoeller for 'not standing up to Obama's illegal Executive Orders', states flat out that Hollingsworth 'wants a border wall', 'will crack down on illegal immigrants' and other dog whistle FOX/Tea Party bullshit.

I'm sure the average Hoosier low-information voter is eating it up. Question is: what are the Dems doing about it - if anything?

I have yet to see any Dem candidate ads, for any office (state or local).

He needs to be getting his name out there. Pence is literally giving him and the state Dems gift after gift and they seem not to be taking advantage.

Gregg was at the Statehouse rally with Bernie on Friday, but that's been about it.

As for Hollingsworth...I dunno. I wouldn''t think people would take too kindly to carpetbaggers.

.... so the 'hate everyone' carpetbagger is apparently more appealing than someone who's actually FROM Indiana.

As far as Gregg, I just can't be enthusiastic towards him. He's almost a non-entity - there's no 'rapid fire back' process for all of Pence's FUBARs, he doesn't have a large or forceful media presence ... he's just sorta there. And, in true Hoosier fashion, he's more of a DINO than a real Dem. So if he does win, I don't expect too much change from the Pence Administration. More sense in terms of social issues, maybe, but definitely not a true progressive agenda.
