What’s interesting to me is Laura Belin runs a cite called Bleedingheartland.

I believe she is the daughter of the late David Belin who was a senior partner in the Des Moines law firm of Belin McCormick. He was staff counsel on the Warren Commission, and executive director of the Rockefeller Commission, which investigated the CIA under Ford.

David Belin was a moderate Republican, although I guess in the current political climate that would be described as a socialist at best, and anarchistic at worst.
