We usually vote early because I did once almost forget to vote. We have time to run to the auditor's office so this way we make sure.
Plus the auditor was just getting to call me @ names to work at the polls today so that worked out also.

We did a call bank last night for a friend who is running for county supervisor. It was actually kind of fun, but boy I am so tired of elections, elections, elections.

Sure hoping Jack Hatch really steps it up. We even have our own slogan in our house for the governors race:

We are Tired of Terry
So we Back Jack!

We'll do it until we can no longer drive.

It does seem as though we are in a neverending election cycle. Kind of like that movie, "Groundhog Day."

Voting for Jack. Called the auditor to make certain of the polling place. They move us around.

I detest Branstad! Love that slogan.

She scanned it and line by line verified all information was correct and no changes and if I wanted Democrat party or Republican(Insane) party ballot. I asked for a Democratic Party ballot I moved to the next table and had to complete my solemn oath document from Matt Schultz that I lived in the county, was only going to vote in one precinct, repeat all my address information, print and sign my name. I gave the oath paper to the lady at the end of the table and she slid the Democrat (2nd time with that crap) Party Ballot to my side of the table. Start mental fantasy of tipping tables throwing paperwork in the air rant about Fox poisoning and Matt Schultz is a asshole---- end fantasy. vote

They had us fill out a small form for party affiliation, county residence, and address and signature. Didn't have to show any form of identification whatsoever. Then the poll officer looked up our names on the computer and we asked to verbally verify address and give birthdates (think that is because there are a couple of other people in this county with the same given and surnames). Got the ballot and voted. Matt Schultz is an asshole and affront to democracy.

You may have to drive around trees in the NE 1/2 of the county and don't drive into water running across the road.
