Well folks I just called our "Senators"

Called them and asked politely but firmly that they instigate an immediate investigation into the "alleged" Russian hacking of the American election. In Ernst's case, I tried to appeal to her sense of "patriotism" since she's a veteran and seemingly wouldn't want an enemy nation taking things over. And in Grassley's call, I tried to appeal to his longevity and power he may have. I really don't think it will work, especially in Grassley's case, but I will not lie back and take this...stuff. If I'm going down, I'm going down fighting.

I have NOT had the courage yet to call Chris Collin' office again as I already called him a while ago and then, a couple weeks ago emailed him and told him to go fuck himself.. not in so many words...

Maybe I'll have a bourbon and try again...

Particularly McConnell's. I emailed him twice, and the second time I was rejected due to maintenance (box full?).

Depending on one's level of outrage, email, email, email, especially to McConnell. Shame his ass.

In actuality I've been here for quite some time. I had another username but after the attack on DU I couldn't remember my password and the admins, for whatever reason, never emailed me another one. So I just changed my username. I was known as bluzmann57 in my earlier incarnation.

THANK YOU! They won't care about what you want. You're right. HOWEVER - if they keep getting input like this, and keep getting input like this, and keep getting input like this, they'll be forced at least to acknowledge it.

Might be shrewd to call their Washington DC offices - AND their regional offices. So it doubles your efforts. You get a twofer. BOTH your complaints get logged separately by staffers from two separate offices. You increase the numbers in both places. And sometimes it's a lot easier to get through if you go local/regional instead of to DC.

I live in Oregon so mine are already on board for an investigation, but the staffers who answered the phones listened patiently before sharing the actions they were already taking.

that you want to make sure that the Trump presidency is legitimate so that he can Make America Great Again. You're worried that the Democrats won't shut up about Russia without an investigation. It will be all Russia all the time unless they investigate.
