influenced his vote and I laughed in his face.

About ten years ago I was told a story by a Leach insider - not sure what he did and have forgotten the name - that Leach would no longer travel with Grassley because Grassley would use the stop over in Chicago to shake down lobbyists for donations.
Don't know if the story is true or not, but I could sure believe it.

Even my republican mother-in-law doesn't like him. She said something like, "all he does is call looking for money." (she has a lot).
