NW Iowa Fascist burns public library Children's books

Paul Dorr, a northwest Iowa religious activist, released a Facebook Live video Friday in which he burns four LGBTQ-themed books from the Orange City Public Library. A still from the video is shown, in which he throws Suzanne and Max Lang's "Families, Families, Families!" into a burning barrel.

In 1823, Heinrich Heine wrote the words, "Dort wo man Bücher verbrennt, verbrennt man auch am Ende Menschen," or "Where books are burned, in the end, people will also be burned." More than a century later in 1933, young Nazi students in Germany organized a nationwide book burning to eliminate foreign influence. As this quote eerily predicted, the mass murder of Jews in the Holocaust soon followed.

Donate money to LGBTQ organizations and/or the ACLU in Dorr's name or establish the "Paul Dorr-OC Pride LGBTQ Bookshelf" at the Orange City Library.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one seeing these organized hate group actions. You give me support to know I'm not the only one.

I have had the "opportunity" to visit NW Iowa often. So, I can testify: This one guy isn't just one guy.

I wish I had written it down when I saw it, but there was a facebook group of these hateful nuts in NW Iowa. In Orange City, where there is a small Dutch-xian college.

And I'm seeing/hearing twitter messages, maybe here on DU, that Steve King (Fascist, NW IOWA) is a white nationalist?!

It's hard to keep up with the churning, but I swear, I've seen this stuff.
