UPDATE: Maryland has now received an official disaster declaration from the SBA,

allowing eligible small businesses, private nonprofits, and small farms/co-ops in our state to apply for the SBA's Economic Injury Disaster Loan program. See the declaration here: disasterloan.sba.gov/ela/Declarations/DeclarationDetails….

Because Montgomery County has been declared an economic disaster area by the U.S. Small Business Administration, MoCo small businesses suffering economic hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic can now apply for SBA Disaster Relief Loans. Apply online: https://www.sba.gov/funding-programs/disaster-assistance. Governor Hogan has asked the SBA for a statewide economic disaster declaration so that businesses across MD can become eligible for relief. Today the MD delegation wrote to SBA Administrator Carranza in strong support of the Governor's request and urged swift approval.'
