BOSTON (AP) — The MBTA will suspend all service Sunday as another snowstorm with blizzard-like conditions races into the state.
There will be no subway, trolley, commuter rail, bus or ferry service the entire day. The last subway trains will depart downtown Boston no later than 12:50 a.m. Sunday.
The MBTA said in a statement Friday that it’s taking the action to ensure the safety of riders and T workers.
It’s the third full-day shut down of the transit system since a slew of storms began hammering the state, although buses continued to run during the second shutdown.
