No bail for man accused of hoarding guns, explosives

MEDWAY, Mass. —A Massachusetts man charged with hoarding a cache of illegal firearms and explosives in his home has been ordered held without bail following a hearing to determine whether he is a danger to the community.
The MetroWest Daily News reports that 48-year-old Alexander L'Esperance, of Medway, is facing 50 charges stemming from a series of events beginning with a Sept. 18 well-being check at his home.
Prosecutors say the Navy veteran fought with officers during the visit.
Police say a family member later requested officers search the home, where they found the guns and devices.
