I need some activism advice for my daughter

She is 22. She is looking for a good LGBT rights activism group in Eastern ( preferably southeastern) Mass. Can anyone suggest a good place for her to start? I tried doing some looking online but quickly realized that I have no idea what groups are good or well organized or still active here.

Any suggestions?

If the case is she doesn't find one nearby - maybe she could partner with a few like minded and start one?
I have helped organize a few political action groups and have a good friend start a wonderful reproductive rights group locally. It's an awesome thing to be a part of. I would never imagine I could do something so kick ass and amazing if someone hadn't suggested it to me.
So I thought I'd put it out there!
