Trump's new National Security Council chief has denounced Michigan Muslims

Meet Fred Fleitz, Trump's new deputy assistant and the chief of staff for the National Security Council. He's old, he's white, he used to lead an alleged hate group, and he wants Michigan Muslims to get with his program.

"There are some communities in the United States that have not assimilated. I’m not concerned about Amish or Jewish communities, but I will tell you that there are enclaves of Muslim communities in Michigan and Minnesota that concern me," Fleitz told Breitbart "News" Daily, a program on SiriusXM, in 2017.

"The problem with these Muslim communities is that it is making them susceptible to this radical worldview that wants to destroy modern society, create a global caliphate, and impose sharia law on everyone on Earth."

At the time, Fleitz was Senior Vice President for Policy and Programs at the Center for Security Policy, a far-right think tank that the Southern Poverty Law Center has identified as an anti-Muslim hate group. Now, this wing-nut is tasked with advising the president on national security and foreign policies.

* I'm not sure why there is a pic of Bolton, and not Fleitz.

and I'd say, no that's not true. I've been to Dearborn. I've spent time there, I know people from there, and it's nothing like she thought. She simply would not believe me. She'd never been there but assumed she knew better about a place where I've actually been and spent time.

People are desperate to hold onto their incorrect and racist views to the point where they will willfully ignore reality.

Anyway, I think this is a common enough completely false belief. He's probably seen women wearing hajib and takes that to mean that Islamic people can't be Americans.

And I love how he tacks on that he isn't concerned about Amish people - a religious group that has never assimilated. Thanks for pointing out your own hypocrisy. I am not convinced he's telling the truth when he says he isn't concerned about Jewish communities because people who are this ignorant and have this much hate tend to have hatred toward Jewish people too. There are certain groups hateful people tend to go for. They seldom hate one group in isolation.
