Just got called and asked for my opinions on a few issues

Just a few questions - no clue where they were calling from, though I'm inclined to think it was a right wing group based on some of the wording.

1) Are you registered to vote?
Then the caller started to say something about party registration but I cut her off by telling her Minnesota doesn't do party registration.

2) Do you oppose a raise in taxes, even taxes dedicated to education? ("No" said I)

3) Do you support right to work legislation that would keep workers from being forced to join a union? ("No" says I, again)

4) Do you support making abortion illegal except when the mother's life is in danger? ("Most emphatically no&quot

5) Do you oppose any new gun control legislation including registering hand guns? ("Absolutely no&quot

And that was it. Really kind of a strange poll - not often they ask just yes or no questions.

It was short and sweet because you were giving all the "wrong" answers progree Jan 2015 #1
I always try to ask where they are calling from rurallib Jan 2015 #2
Interesting that they are polling now, after the elections question everything Jan 2015 #3
Next time, ask who they're calling for. If they won't tell me, I won't answer. Brickbat Jan 2015 #4
good luck with that..... glinda Jan 2015 #5

Your responses probably went into the proverbial waste basket.

many of the GOP calls come from Utah

They can't tell you who they are calling for, but they can tell where they are calling from.
I usually say something like "it's cold here - what's it like where you are? Where is that?"

Most of the time they'll tell you, if you ask. I like to know who's using my information.

They may say one polling Group but they tell you they do not know who is using the information. I have tried.
