Trump is targeting Minnesota to flip it red

The Star Tribune is writing about the surge of the GOP in Minnesota. Trump is targeting Minnesota to flip it red.
He plans on having several more rallies in Minnesota before the election.

Jason Lewis is a horrible Trump fan running against Sen. Tina Smith. She needs to step up her campaign posture and presence so Minnesotans hear her. She is too quite and Lewis a loud bombastic fool.

The DFL better get busy! Minnesota needs to turn up the energy to stay blue!

What about DFL rallies that coincide with any trump rallies? What ideas do you have?

Yet, unless she get the nomination, she won't be on the ticket. She will still campaign though, we can count on that.

Smith won her special election. There was no net change in our U.S. House representation. Klobuchar won precincts that went for Trump. it's not a walk in the park, but there's no "GOP surge" here, either.

The article itself was yet another preoccupation with fence-sitters in rural areas and focusing on red "counties" rather than populations. It actually says "The small towns and broad stretches of fertile farmland west of those cities are traditionally conservative." Fertile farmland doesn't vote.

It is reassuring. Yet, it was no joke that it was a close race in 2016.

any time there's an article about some "gop surge", what it really is doing is giving cover to the voter suppression. Farmland and animals don't vote, but neither do people who have been removed from voter rolls or people whose precincts have been closed or most of the voting machines removed from them.

Minnesota was a close loss for MF45 last time, and it was close only because of voter suppression and russian ads. More voter suppression, and more interference like lying Facebook ads, is what MF45 is counting on.

Talking about some 'gop surge' just provides a distraction from voter suppression, and should MF45 actually win again, that is what will be pointed to.

They didn't seem to put much effort in supporting the ticket, maybe figuring that since Minnesota hadn't voted for a GOP candidate since 1972 it was in the bag in 2018. I ran all over town trying to find Clinton/Kaine lawn signs and couldn't get one. I didn't even see very many, even here in the People's Republic of Minneapolis. I don't know whether the state party or the national campaign was to blame for this, but there didn't seem to be much of a presence, at least that I saw. Add the Russians and other factors and what should have been a blowout was much too close for comfort.

and other leadership. I have voiced my concerns about several issues that I see or have seen. I hope the DFL steps up its support for candidates running the smaller races for one. I would also like to see more outreach with the public. The DFL has a lot of meetings, but I don't see those meetings reaching the masses of Minnesotans. I would like to see the party carry the candidates verses the candidates carrying the party. Some of my thoughts.

If Minnesota wasn't in on the hustle the first time I'm thinking the fix won't be there next time. And instead of promises to the WWF crowd, he has the worst record in history to be talked about. I don't see it. And I'm from Wi. originally. Love KTNF!
