Republican senator tells National Review the caucus will work to pass the 20-week abortion ban this term.

So he is pro-fetus, not totally pro-life.

If he were pro-life, he would be a pacifist and against the death penalty.

The House of Representatives has had a pro-life caucus since 1981, and it is currently co-chaired by Representatives Chris Smith (R., N.J.) and Dan Lipinski (D., Ill.).

Lipinski is my own Congressperson.

I am So Goddam Sick and Tired of men making laws over what women do with their bodies!

And, yes, these zealots are certainly NOT “ pro-life” since they don’t give a rat’s ass about children in cages, children going hungry, infant mortality in the U.S., or inadequate or total lack of affordable health care for all. They are just a bunch of misogynistic bullies who hide behind hatred of women to justify their radical extremism.

You are in target and on fire.

For the record, I belong to a social justice group that worked for a progressive woman, Marie Newman, who challenged Lipinski. Unfortunately, she lost due, in part, to sleazy campaign literature.

So glad to see you here. I knew nothing of the Daines statement until I saw this thread. I’ll get up to speed on the story and please, let’s get the word out to defeat this asshole in 2020. This is out of control.

Him on one side, Gianforte on the other, both of the same mindset that the earth is only 6000 years old and dinos were on the ark.

I hate to say it, but I think that this just cemented his support with the Christians around here.

but I think his extremist bullshit is going to hurt him. That and the sniveling little coward is too chicken to have a real town hall in Montana. Daines is an enigma in the state. Nobody EVER sees him. Let’s make him run for cover in 2020.
