Blaze causes building collapse, leaves 20 people homeless
A large fire in Paterson has displaced 20 people, officials said.
The fire started in the basement around 11:30 p.m. in the 3 1/2 story building on the 200 block of Main Street., WABC-7 said.
The building, which housed a cell phone store beneath apartments, partially collapsed. It will have to be demolished.
One firefighter suffered a minor injury.
