Twice in 24 hours I got two texts from Bob Hugin "Hugin Huggers", asking me

if I mailed in my vote.

Except I'm a registered Democrat.

I returned the text with the message, "Yes, I mailed in my ballot. I wish Bob Hugin a good retirement in New Jersey. XOXO."

I am a registered Independent in NJ11. I have had canvassers come to my door 3 times in as many weeks for Mikie Sherrill. I have received robo calls for Webber, Menendez and Hugin.

Usually at this time of year I would see tons of lawn signs for Republican candidates as my district is very red. There are very few signs at all and they are 50/50 for Sherrill and Hugin.

Also, I received 2 survey calls recently for my opinion on NJ candidates and also what I think of 45. Loved to press the "unfavorable" number!!!

My concern here in NJ tomorrow is the ES&S voting machines that have no paper trail and remote sofware. I have no doubt that Sherrill will get more votes, but how will they be tabulated? And I am not sure Menendez will hang onto his seat.
