What about the burritos? Allsup's sold after 60 years in New Mexico, West Texas

The legendary Allsup’s bean and beef burritos have a new owner as the Clovis-based chain of convenience stores was sold to Yesway on Tuesday.

Yesway announced it entered an agreement to purchase Allsup’s Convenience Stores, which boasts 300 stores in New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma, pending regulatory approval.

In a Yesway news release announcing the sale, the Iowa-based company labeled itself as the “fastest growing convenience store chain in the U.S.”

Allsup’s served the southwest with its renowned burritos, chimichangas and other snack foods for 60 years.
