I seek out senior volunteer mentors. My first mentor in the restaurant business was an 83 year old retired restaurant owner...she taught me many things which would have taken much trial and error to learn on my own. My current mentor is a 78 year old retired executive chef. ..He too has and is teaching me many things. ...
