Nassau County Republicans are trying to fast track the sale of all of our sewage treatment plants

Ed Mangano's Republican Administration in Nassau County is trying to pull a fast one on the community. They are attempting to circumvent all procedures and sell off ALL of the county's sewage treatment plants in order to close a one time budget gap.

There is concern that the stealth nature of the legislative activities may be part of a larger plan to provide fracking companies with large privately run sewage treatment plants where they can dispose of their waste water.

I am trying to help build opposition to this plan and force the legislature to open the process to the public and to environmental review. If you are a Nassau resident and would like to help out post here or PM me.

Thanks!
