Obama to visit Cooperstown on Thursday

ALBANY—Barack Obama will visit the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown on Thursday, he said during his weekly radio address, to stress the importance of tourism as an economic engine.

Obama, a Democrat, was in New York earlier this week to open the National September 11 Memorial and Museum and speak, alongside Democratic governor Andrew Cuomo, about the importance of infrastructure investment at the site of the new Tappan Zee Bridge.
