Two women assaulted at 59th Street subway station

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Police are investigating an assault on two women on a northbound 6 train at the 59th Street-Lexington Avenue subway station Monday morning.

EMS confirms that a 39-year old woman was stabbed in the shoulder and stomach around 10 a.m.

She was rushed to Weill Cornell Hospital in serious but stable condition.

The second victim, a 19-year old woman, was punched in the face and had her hair pulled.
