Michael Bloomberg: Prosecute Edward Snowden

Former Mayor Michael Bloomberg apparently doesn't have much patience for NSA leaker Edward Snowden's self-characterization as a patriot.

NBC's David Gregory asked the ex-mayor about Snowden during a sitdown for this coming Sunday's "Meet the Press," and Bloomberg let loose, according to a teaser transcript released Friday afternoon.

"The guy should be prosecuted. You cannot have individual people deciding what information should be released," Hizzoner emeritus said when asked if Snowden was a "patriot," a "traitor," or something in between.
