Brooklyn stabbing suspect linked to Chelsea subway stabbing
EAST NEW YORK, N.Y. (WABC) -- Police are investigating the suspect in the deadly Brooklyn stabbing that left a 6-year-old dead and a 7-year-old critically injured to see his involvement in the Wednesday subway stabbing in Chelsea.
Daniel St. Hubert was arrested Wednesday night in Queens, and authorities are are investigating whether he is also involved in the fatal stabbing of a teen in the same area of East New York last Friday. The Chelsea stabbing took place earlier Wednesday morning.
The knife attack inside an elevator within the Boulevard Houses Sunday night that killed Prince Joshua "PJ" Avitto and critically injured Mikayla Capers left the neighborhood on edge as police searched for the killer.
On Wednesday night, the relieved residents cheered the NYPD for quickly making the apprehension.
