5 Hospitalized After Facade On Side Of Brooklyn Bridge Collapses

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Five people were sent to hospitals Wednesday evening when a façade collapsed beneath the Brooklyn Bridge in downtown Brooklyn.
The decorative façade came down around 7:40 p.m. Wednesday at an underpass at Prospect and Washington streets in Brooklyn, near the exit ramp to Tillary Street and Cadman Plaza, the FDNY EMS told 1010 WINS.
The victims were treated for minor injuries at Bellevue Hospital Center, EMS said.
