MTA: Hudson Line Service Resumes With Minor Delays

NY1News

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority says it is running regular service on Metro-North's Hudson Line today, but riders can expect scattered delays of up to 15 minutes.

Service between the city and Yonkers was suspended through the weekend after a freight train derailed near the Spuytin Duyvil station Thursday night.

Crews are still working to clear that train and rebuild more than 1,500 feet of track.

The MTA says only one track will be in use today, so it expects to have 40 Grand Central-bound trains running during the peak morning hours and 12 headed north.
