i always wonder about "cop bars". they seem to do a lot of drinking and i wonder if they have a designated driver.

my friend's brother is a retired cop and also a recovering alcoholic.

I saw them drinking while on duty. This was in the theatre district while the shows were in progress. Sardi's was a very popular place for them.

My date worked in the court system. Drinking was EPIC! and not quality hooch, either - more like "well" brands from a dive bar, and lots of Natty Light-ish beer.
I fell down on the dance floor, and I was in better shape than most.
