Gov. Andrew Cuomo calls for probe of Time Warner Cable outage

A nationwide outage of Time Warner Cable’s Internet services Wednesday morning has drawn the ire of Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

In a statement late Wednesday morning, Cuomo said he has directed the state Department of Public Service to probe the outage, which affected more than 11 million TWC customers in the pre-dawn hours.
