Governor Andrew Cuomo has purchased a reminder to Democratic voters about Tuesday's primary, in the form of $850,000 in broadcast television ads, according to F.C.C. filings reviewed by Capital.
The latest buy, running from Sept. 1 until the close of polls on Tuesday, September 9, is part of the most significant ad campaign Cuomo has run since late July, and is more than seven times the $114,000 buy made the week prior (from Aug. 21-27).
The filings that are currently available from New York broadcast stations indicate that the ads were placed in the Buffalo and New York City broadcast markets.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo and running mate Kathy Hochul touted a progressive agenda as they rallied for Sen. Jeff Klein in the Bronx on Sunday afternoon, amid a spirited attack from their left in Tuesday's Democratic primary.
New York was the progressive capital of the nation, that's our history, that's our legacythat we did the progressive things first, Cuomo told a group of more than a hundred volunteers and elected officials during a rally at the S.A.R. Academy in Riverdale. We were the first and we said four years ago we were going to be the first again.
