Bo Dietl Says He Will Challenge ‘Big Bird’ Bill de Blasio for Mayor

Bo Dietl, a Fox News contributor and former NYPD detective, declared today he will run against Mayor Bill de Blasio when the Democrat presumably seeks re-election in 2017.
“Hey big bird, I’m coming. I’m going to run against you,” Mr. Dietl told Fox host Don Imus, repeatedly dismissing the six-foot-five mayor as “big bird,” a reference to the very large yellow bird of Sesame Street fame.
