Funeral services to be held today for fallen NYPD Detective Wen Jian Liu

DYKER HEIGHTS (WABC) -- Thousands of police officers from around the country will pay a final salute Sunday to one of the two NYPD officers ambushed in their patrol car.

Funeral services will be held in Brooklyn for Detective Wen Jian Lu, beginning at 11 a.m.

Buddhist monks will lead a Chinese ceremony to begin the services. That will be followed by a more traditional ceremony led by a police chaplain.
