Boy, 5, Injured After Jumping Off Coney Island Coaster

Officials with Deno's Amusement Park say that a boy was injured Wednesday evening after he jumped off the Sea Serpent Roller Coaster before the ride stopped.
Deno's Amusement Park officials say the 5-year-old boy crawled under the ride's lap retaining bar and jumped off the ride before it stopped.
Preliminary reports were that the boy suffered a large cut to his left leg, according to park officials.
The boy fell five to six feet, according to sources.
