Related: About this forumPlease. Larger print on ballot?
A request to anyone with influence with the powers that be. Can we please have a ballot that is easier to read? If for space considerations the type has to be that small could it please be at least a bold-face font?

(18,402 posts)Our ballot was printed in such large type, the pages were so long they didn't fit on the table. I kept having to reposition it to complete the arrows.
But it was a good thing (and not just for the visually impaired). We had, among all the other offices to vote for (dozens and dozens), 58 separate judicial retentions, on which a yes or no arrow had to be completed. Had they been smaller, it would have been even more of a bitch to fill in. As it was, it took me more than 20 minutes to complete my ballot, and I brought a fully filled out cheat-sheet sample ballot with me.
Bring reading glasses next time in New York!

(43,049 posts)fit on one line to avoid some confusion.
However, there should have been a magnifier sitting in a pocket in the booth where you fill it out.
Sorry it's too late now, but nobody looks there, and poll workers often forget or don't know about it themselves.
