The federal minimum wage is unlivable, especially in an expensive metropolis like New York City. Food delivery app couriers don’t even make the state’s minimum wage of $15 per hour currently, and the multi-million dollar companies they work for are pursuing legal action to ensure they won’t reach that point. Do these people expect to support themselves delivering people's food to them?
