Brooklyn man arrested for flying drone over Manhattan

NEW YORK (WABC) -- The operator of a small drone that crashed near Grand Central Station last month has been arrested by the NYPD.

David Zablidowsky of Brooklyn has been charged with "Reckless Endangerment" for allegedly losing control of a helicopter drone at "an unreasonable height creating a substantial risk of serious physical injury".

An Eyewitness News exclusive investigation showed the dramatic video of the drone as it flew erratically over the crowded streets of mid-town before crashing nearly striking a businessman.
