More Charges Possible In Death Of Baby Found In Shopping Bag

NY1News

The investigation continues with more charges possible against two city teens after a baby was found dead Thursday in a shopping bag at a Manhattan store.

Police say security guards at the Victoria's Secret in Herald Square stopped Tiona Rodriguez and Francis Estevez, both 17, for suspected shoplifting.

When the guards looked inside the girls' bags, they smelled a strong odor and discovered the infant's remains.

It's still not clear how old the baby was or whether it was still alive when delivered.
