Report: Baby Hope's Accused Killer Says Confession Was Coerced

The lawyer of the man charged with killing the little girl known as Baby Hope more than two decades ago is crying foul after a New York Times interview with his client was released Friday.

In an interview with the Times, Conrado Juarez admitted that he helped to dispose the body of the girl, who has been identified now as Anjelica Castillo.

But he went back on his original confession that he sexually assaulted and suffocated the child, claiming he was coerced.

He tells the Times that in 1991 his sister called him to tell him Anjelica had died after falling down some stairs.
