WABC: Police Commissioner "Not Hopeful" Of Finding Missing Queens Teen

Police Commissioner Ray Kelly says he's losing hope in the search for Avonte Oquendo.

The 14-year-old autistic boy has been missing since running out of his school in Long island City on October 4.

Kelly shared his opinion with WABC Thursday night.

"Obviously, we have devoted a tremendous amount of resources to the search," he said. "We're continuing to put information out. We're talking to jurisdictions, certainly in the Northeast quadrant of the United States. So we're, unfortunately, we are not hopeful that we're going to find this young man alive, but we are continuing our search."
