NY1NEWS
Mayor Michael Bloomberg on Tuesday signed a bill making New York the first major city to raise the minimum age to buy tobacco from 18 to 21.
It also applies to electronic cigarettes.
People under 21 can still possess tobacco under the new law.
But city health officials hope this becomes a major roadblock for young adults who are thinking about taking up smoking.

Nothing energizes the human spirit like prohibition. We didn't get kicked out of the garden for submissiveness.

how do you pass this law.

choice.
