A Brooklyn immigrant family that lost a hard-working dad to an allegedly trigger-happy teen is now facing a second tragedy — the possible loss of their home.

Meanwhile, the punk who police say killed Angel Rojas without warning has been charged with second-degree murder.

Rojas, who was homeward bound on a B15 bus and talking on a cell phone when he took a fatal bullet to the head, worked two jobs to support his family.

With Rojas gone, his widow Maria Lopez said can no longer afford their modest, second-floor Brownsville apartment, on the relative pennies she earns as a part-time home attendant.

...Rojas once owned a grocery store named after son Saury in the city of Ceiba de Madera, but he uprooted his family and moved to Brooklyn four years ago in search of a better life.

Angel Rojas was homeward bound on a B15 bus when he was shot and killed. “Family was the first thing for him,” said Lopez, while her son translated. “He used to think of his family before him.”

...Saury, who is nursing a broken thumb from playing basketball, said he worries about his mother because she has high blood pressure on top of heartbreak. He said he is clinging to happy memories of his slain father.

“We used to go to the park nearby and he used to push me on the swings really high,” he said.
